Haven’t been this excited to read a book with my beautiful brown daughter in a looonnnggg time! Teaching her that all of her was created uniquely and intentionally. This book highlights all of the areas our children are forced to learn about themselves and accept that they are who they are. The emphasis on natural beauty and loving yourself was clear and well done in a manner that all young brown girls can relate to! Kudos to the Author the intent was clear!

SN (Sidenote): My daughter loved the illustrations which encouraged her to want to read it over and over for not only the message but the beautiful photos as well.
